Trek Overview

India's Most Beautiful
Himalayan Valley

The Valley of Flowers National Park is one of the most mesmerizing natural wonders of India, situated at an altitude of 3,658 m in the Bhyundar Valley, Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this valley is home to over 529 species of alpine plants — of which 498 are flowering plants.

Famous for Alpine flowers, Vajardanti, Marsh Marigold, Shomalap, and countless rare species, the Valley of Flowers Trek is the only trek in India that remains vibrant, safe, and accessible even during the monsoon season.

The trail runs beside the Pushpawati River through dense forest, past stunning waterfalls, wooden bridges, and glistening mountain streams. The valley seems to change its colours throughout the season — snowy white in June, vibrant blue in July, and blooming pink in August.

Paired with the divine Hemkund Sahib — the highest Gurudwara in the world at 4,328 m — this trek is the perfect blend of natural beauty and spiritual experience.
